Tasty Tuesday’s wine paring

Tasty Tuesday’s wine paring

Eddie and I love a good steak and Rib-eye is our favorite. Our second favorite is a Skirt Steak. Here is a good recipe to try.

You would take 1/2 cup BBQ sauce, 3 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil, 2 Tablespoons steak sauce (such as A-1), 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar, 1 Tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce, 2 Tablespoons steak Seasoning, 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, 1 garlic clove, minced, and 4-8 ounce rib-eye steaks.

Throw all of that into a ziplock bag and refrigerate for 4 hours.

Heat up a grill pan or your outdoor grill. Take out the steaks and discard the marinade. Grill steaks until your desired doneness (145 degrees for Medium rare and 160 degrees for Medium).

Best Paired with One Hope Cabernet Sauvignon wine. In case you need some, click here:https://www.onehopewine.com/myshop/debbie-toro

If you want a great steak without all those ingredients or you thought of it as you were driving home from work and stopped at the grocery store to pick up the steak, try this:

Just take out the Ribeye steak and let it stay at room temperature while you heat the grill pan on medium high (or light the outdoor grill). Add a little sea salt (or Kosher salt) and freshly ground black pepper. When the grill is ready, throw on the steaks and grill to your desired doneness. Make sure to let the steak rest before you cut into it.

Add a side salad, some corn on the cob and One Hope Cabernet Sauvignon wine. Eat with a loved one (such as Eddie). Enjoy!
